I got off of a set yesterday, and realized… there was guy there that had the worst attitude I have ever seen in a NEWBIE Actor… Just a horrible person. He knew “EVERYTHING” and really only proved that the Director made a serious mistake by hiring him in the first place. Who ever is out there teaching actors, that they should appear to know something about everything, and to show that quality on set… needs to be shot!
I am no fan of an Actor telling me what to do while I am working, or suggesting technical things to the camera man… that is what a DIRECTOR is for. Its one thing to have a chat with a Director on set and talk about changes possibly, but to demand them… WRONG! and it makes the whole deal lame for everyone involved.
The worst part is this guy will quickly be back to waiting tables, and he does not even see it. I tried… but got the “BIRD” in the face…
Oh well, to each is own. Stay gold pony boy, and that kind of thing!
A good attitude will get you far, a poor attitude will drive others nuts, and keep YOU From working. Just look at the amazing amount of former Diva’s out there that will probably never work again.
Peace and love!
